SUMMER FESTIVAL 2019 Taking the place of our successful "Music Madness" Festivals, we are proud to announce our Summer Festival, taking us back to the good old days of a grand Summer Fete, with music from the acoustic stage, dancers, arts & crafts, baking competitions, produce and flower show, in fact, something for everyone at Walpole Park on June 22nd |

Saturday, June 22nd 10am - 5pm, sees the highlight of the
Gosportarians calendar - The Summer Festival. Billed as something for
everyone, this event certainly tries to live up to the name. Opened by
Gosport's Mayor Kath Jones, to a fanfare by our national award winning
Gosport Solent Brass Band, the day opens with a bang. If you love dogs,
we have a dog behaviour arena with demonstrations by Juliet and her team
from the Academy of modern canine behaviour and training. If you love
flowers, we have an all day flower arranging demonstration by Ann Maree
Dicker and her team, where the public can have a go at making their own
displays. If you love music, we have 10 different acts, from solo
artists to community groups and school choirs. If you like crafts, we
have over 20 stalls including two artists who will be displaying their
works. If you like amusements, we have a children's fun fair, with
bouncy castles and electric cars. If you love food and are 16 or
younger, we have our competition marquee, where you can enter any of 10
categories of food making. You just turn up on the day, between 8-10am
with your free entry. So come along on the day to Walpole Park
Gosport, PO12 1NQ either to enjoy the sights and sounds or enter one of
the food categories and win rosettes and prizes. Entry to the event is
